In ancient Greek sacred architecture, every element of the temple was a sequence of deepening. The outer precinct gave way to the entrance hall; the entrance hall opened onto the threshold; and beyond the threshold, at the very heart of the structure, was the naos - the holy of holies. Not a place you passed through, but a place you arrived at. The place the entire temple was built to hold.
This container is named for that room. Not the approach, not the crossing, but the encounter at the center. What happens in the naos does not happen at the edges of your life. It happens at the heart of it.
A container is not a curriculum. It does not have a fixed destination, a set of modules to complete, or a version of you it is trying to produce. It is a held space - bounded, clear, and safe - in which you are witnessed, called forward, and given genuine ground to stand on. In which the process is held for you, so that you don't have to hold it yourself.
The Naos works at the level where wisdom becomes something you live rather than something you know. Where the pattern that has survived years of analysis begins, finally, to shift. Where the vitality that you have sensed in yourself but not yet fully inhabited begins to breathe through the actual tissue of your days. The sessions are structured enough to provide direction, and open enough to follow what is most alive - because what is most alive is always more important than what was planned.
The Arkhe - created before the container begins - is the map the work is built upon. It is not a document we reference occasionally. It is the architecture we move through, and return to, across the full three months.
This is for the person who has done years of the work - and who is still waiting to feel like enough.
Years of therapy, perhaps. Workshops, retreats, practices, self-inquiry. More shadow work than they thought was possible. A genuine, sustained commitment to knowing themselves - and still, underneath all of it, a sense of something incomplete. Something that has not yet arrived. A quality of aliveness that is sensed but not yet inhabited.
This is not a container for beginners. It is a container for people who are already awake enough to know they are not yet fully alive. Who have mapped the terrain and still feel, somehow, outside it. Who have done everything right and still suspect there is something deeper that their understanding alone cannot reach.
The Naos works at the place where insight runs out - where the pattern is known but not yet moved, where the wisdom has entered the mind but not yet breathed through the bones. It is the encounter with what is most essentially true about you, held and witnessed until that truth becomes something you live rather than something you know about.
Three months is the minimum viable container for this quality of work. Long enough for what has been held to begin to move. Long enough for vitality to find its way back into territory that has been frozen, managed, or quietly avoided. Short enough to hold with full presence and commitment.
The Naos is not the right container for everyone, and it does not try to be. What follows is a direct account of who this work serves, and who would be better served elsewhere - at least for now.
Three sessions per month across three months. Each session is 90 minutes - long enough to move past the surface, to follow something into the body, to allow a pattern to emerge fully before we begin to work with it. Sessions are held online, via video, and are given the same quality of presence and attention whether it is the first session or the ninth.
The rhythm of three sessions per month is deliberate. Close enough together to sustain genuine momentum and continuity. Spaced enough apart to allow for real integration between sessions - because integration is not the quiet period between the work. Integration is the work.
Your Arkhe - covering the Portals of Activation, Relation, and Prosperity - is created before the Naos container begins. It is the map we carry throughout the three months: a living document that is not read and set aside, but held alongside the work, returned to as understanding deepens, and integrated through direct lived experience rather than continued study.
Rather than receiving your Arkhe in isolation, you will have the rare and particular experience of having someone genuinely steeped in your archetypal configuration sitting across from you - someone for whom your patterns, your undefined centers, and your shadow frequencies are not abstract concepts, but the actual territory of the work. The report does not lead the sessions. The sessions bring the report to life.
The Naos does not apply a single therapeutic model. It draws from five distinct bodies of practice, held together by the practitioner's training and the map of your archetypal configuration - used not as a menu, but as an integrated language of change.
The body as primary intelligence - not as an afterthought to psychological insight, but as the site where insight becomes real and lasting. We track sensation, breath, contraction, and opening in real time. The body already holds what the mind is still trying to articulate.
A multiplicity model of the psyche - recognizing that different parts of us carry different histories, fears, and needs. When parts are heard rather than overridden, the internal conflict that has been quietly running us begins to resolve. Conflict becomes information; information becomes choice.
Grounded in radical presence. What is happening right now - in this body, in this conversation, in this precise moment of contact - is the material we work with. The past is not behind us; it is present in how we are. The quality of now is where change lives.
The integration of psychological understanding and somatic awareness. Emotional experience lives in posture, tissue, and breath as much as it lives in narrative. Somatic psychology works precisely at that intersection - neither purely talking nor purely body-based, but both at once.
The conscious encounter with what has been exiled, denied, or turned away from. Not excavation for its own sake - but a recognition that what we cannot see in ourselves continues to determine our choices, our relationships, and our experience of being alive. Seeing it changes everything.
Some things do not yield to analysis. They yield to being witnessed - in the body, in full, without an agenda.
The full investment in The Naos is $5,000. Payment in full is available, and a three-payment plan is offered for those who prefer to spread the investment across the life of the container.
Full payment is the simplest entry into the container - and the option most clients choose.
The plan carries a small premium of $331 - standard for extended payment arrangements, and a fair reflection of the administrative reality.
The right starting point depends on where you are. If you have already worked with Temenos - through the Arkhe or a Limen session - and feel ready, you can enquire to begin directly. If you haven't yet worked together, The Limen - a single 90-minute paid session - is the recommended way to experience the depth of the work before committing to three months. The Limen fee is credited in full toward The Naos if you go on to book within 30 days.
No - and the distinction is important to name clearly. The Naos draws on therapeutic modalities and is delivered with genuine depth, care, and rigor. But it is a coaching container, not a clinical therapeutic practice. If you are currently experiencing acute mental health difficulties, active trauma response, or require psychiatric support, please seek appropriate clinical care alongside or instead of this work. If you are unsure whether the Naos is appropriate for where you are right now, reach out and ask - and you will receive an honest answer.
Life happens - and this container is held with that reality in mind. If genuine circumstances require a pause, we will navigate that together with care and without judgment. The container is not refundable once underway, but it is held with flexibility where flexibility matters. If at any point you are considering stopping, please bring that into the session first - what feels like a reason to stop is very often the edge the work has been approaching all along.
Not at all. Your Arkhe is created before the container begins and serves as your complete orientation to the three bodies of wisdom in the context of your own archetypal nature. By the time the Naos starts, you will have something real and personal to work from - and the sessions will deepen your relationship with that material through lived experience, which is the only form of understanding that lasts.
Sessions are conducted online and scheduled to suit your time zone. Please include your location when you enquire, and scheduling will be confirmed together before the container begins.
Yes - and many clients do. The depth of what is available in a second or third container is genuinely different from the first; the work changes as you change, and what becomes possible after a year of this quality of inner movement is not the same as what was possible at the beginning. Return containers are available at the same investment, and are discussed naturally at the close of each one.
The integration. Most containers work in one register - talk, or body, or archetype - and leave the others largely untouched. The Naos holds all three at once: the map of your archetypal nature - held in the Arkhe - the intelligence of your body and nervous system (somatic and parts work), and the depth of what has been unconscious (shadow and Gestalt). When all three are in conversation, change happens at a level that none of them can reach alone.
The Naos begins with a conversation. Not an intake form. Not a questionnaire. Simply an email, or a reply to this page - and what unfolds in that exchange will be enough to know whether this is the right container, for you, at this moment. There is no pressure and no performance required.
